The Benefits Analyst work for companies, agencies or any other institution and his/her main responsibility is to insure that the employees benefit from their health insurance, vision insurance, accident insurance or any other type of benefits that they may have when working in a certain domain of activity. For example, if an employee suffers a severe accident that requires a long absence from work, the Benefit Analyst explains to the employee what he must to in order to obtain the benefits that he/she has the right at. Taking into account the work that they perform they act as a liaison between the insurance providers and the employees. In order to do their job well, the Benefits Analysts have excellent legal preparation and the capacity to do research activity which is a common requirement of their job.
