A medical ward nurse is in charge of a unit in a hospital. They are also known as charge nurses, they care for all patients. The ideal candidate for this job would have to possess a bachelor's degree in nursing. A ward nurse's duty is to contribute to the health care plans for patients. They monitor the conditions of all patients and record data. Other duties are to administer medications, check dosages and be familiar with the patients' medical records. Previous experience in this field would be a plus for aspiring candidates.
